hello!

I'm Maggie, a silversmith and jewellery teacher based in the rural village of Cornhill on Tweed in beautiful north Northumberland.

My passion for jewellery making began several years ago when we moved to the Scottish Borders. Being surrounded by such stunning countryside inspired my creative side and I began to teach myself how to make jewellery. I then went on to do a Diploma in Silver Jewellery with the London Jewellery School.

I've always been an ambition of mine to teach and in 2022 this became a reality when I won grant funding to open a fully equipped jewellery workshop and teaching studio based in the Cornhill on Tweed Centre.

I teach a variety of silversmithing and silver clay classes and I also create my own range of handmade jewellery from this lovely space. I have a small shop area and visitors are always welcome. (The studio is closed while classes are on and I'm not there every day so please check ahead to make sure I'm open if you're making a special journey - 07472 325436).
